WILLY GOOD ALE. Craft Brew. Hop Lovers.
Willy Good Ale was set up by head brewer Will Southward in 2010.
While in New york, Will discovered a taste for the very hoppy, often strong and carbonated beers that were emerging in The States.
Feeling inspired, with a flair for flavours and an appreciation for good beer, Will decided to direct his passion into crafting his own ales back home. He began combining American recipes with English and Belgian to produce a unique taste and before long Willy Good Ale was born.
The family soon got on board and they found a home for their adventure at Hartley Farm, only a ten minute cycle ride up the road from where they live in Bradford-On-Avon. Their focus is producing great tasting beer, using the finest locally grown malts and tastiest whole hops
'Hartley Farm is the perfect place to brew and we love being part of the farms community' Will Southward.
The brewery has gone from strength to strength. It quickly reached maximum production levels and they upgraded to a six-barrel plant in 2011. They are now supplying shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants in the local area as well as beer festivals, parties and weddings around the country.
