"A rich and substantial brown ale with shades of a German bock, A juicy, sappy palate dries on the finish with biscuit and roast coffee notes, and firmly resinous hops."

Waste not. Want not. We are really pleased to announce we have zero waste when brewing our beer! Here's how...
Water Recycled: Our system has been improved, which means our water, used for cooling the beer, is recycled, so no wasted water.
Grain enjoyed by the cows: Our spent grain gets fed to the cows at Hartley Farm. The grain is nutritious and slow to digest, so excellent feed for cattle.
Hops to the garden: Our used hops get recycled by Grown Green to help grow the likes of raspberries and garlic. Spent hops have high nitrogen levels, which are great for leafy growth.
Brewing sustainably in regards to our environment and local community is really important to us, take a look at our ethos to find out more.
We got a little mention in The Country Living Magazine UK this month when they paid a visit to Hartley Farm Shop. Follow the link to read the great write up about the shop and cafe.
